Top 10 Recap - July 26th, 2019

Another week has passed, and this one was marked by the continuation of bearish trends all across the market. We saw slight drops and even smaller climbs, with certain exceptions, while short surges keep giving people hope of bullish trends returning. Let’s take a look:

Ethereum: $216.2, with a change of -2.31% from yesterday and -0.07% from last week.

As you can see, bearish trends are still hurting the market, as BTC dropped below the $9,800 mark. It experienced a climb early on Thursday, but it didn’t last long and dropped again after 12 hours. Some analysts claim that this run is still not as damaging as it appears and that the long-term indicators still point towards a positive future.

On the other hand, some altcoins seem to be gaining ground on the giant. Most of them managed to hold their ground, while exceptions like EOS and BSV managed to reach higher numbers. Whether BTC’s hard times will translate into a less hostile environment for altcoins to thrive will be seen in the next weeks.
