It has been quite the week for cryptocurrencies, as the prices fluctuated widely and are yet to stabilize again. Let’s take a look at how the top 10 coins moved:
Bitcoin: $7312.2, with a change of -8.22% from yesterday and 14.58% from last week.
Ethereum: $241.71, with a change of -6.02% from yesterday and 38.21% from last week.
XRP: $0.38144, with a change of -8.67% from yesterday and 26.43% from last week.
Bitcoin Cash: $358.21, with a change of -10.36% from yesterday and 26.13% from last week.
Litecoin: $89.17, with a change of -7.18% from yesterday and 16.21% from last week.
EOS: $6.0206, with a change of -7.63% from yesterday and 23.01% from last week.
Binance Coin: $25.23, with a change of -3.11% from yesterday and 29.95% from last week.
Stellar: $0.124965, with a change of -10.14% from yesterday and 33.10% from last week.
Cardano: $0.080684, with a change of -9.09% from yesterday and 26.04% from last week.
TRON: $0.026100, with a change of -8.39% from yesterday and 9.66% from last week.
The upward trend at the beginning of the week was widely attributed to a more “bullish” run taking place, to the point were many analysts were comparing this rise to the one of 2017 when BTC broke the $8,000 mark, and some personalities attributed this climb to the attention that was drawn towards crypto and blockchain during New York Blockchain Week.
However, it seems that BTC started correcting itself yesterday and, as usual, the rest of the market followed. Compared to an average of 24.33% rise from last week between the top 10 currencies in the market, we see an average drop of 7.88% among them. We will have to wait to see where the market ends up stabilizing and what would be the new resistance points. See you next week!
